Overview
About this programme
GAIP Business & Entrepreneurship takes high school students through the real journey of building a venture, from idea to investor pitch.
Over two phases they learn ideation, customer discovery, market validation, and business and financial planning, with 15 hours of teaching by Singapore Management University (SMU) and 27 hours of guided learning with business mentors (18 online and 9 on campus).
Phase 1 is 4 weeks live online (6 sessions): idea generation, customer discovery and market validation. Phase 2 is 7 days at SMU in Singapore: faculty sessions on the business model, revenue design, financial planning and scaling, mentor sessions, and a final pitch to an SMU faculty panel.
The fee covers SMU faculty sessions and mentor sessions, twin-sharing accommodation, three meals a day, field trips, visa, insurance, local and airport transfers, a city tour, Sentosa Island and entry to Universal Studios Singapore. Flights and personal expenses are not included.
